Barkha Dutt, Wednesday March 3, 2010, New Delhi

In his first television interview since he decided to become a citizen of Qatar, Maqbool Fida Husain talks to NDTV's Barkha Dutt about his Indian-ness and his art. He says his politically complex relationship with India cannot overshadow his love for his country.

"I know 99% of India loves me...If I've offended anyone, I express regret," he says.

Good riddance to untalented and ignorant idiot! Thanks to misguided so called liberal press like Burka who are very vociferous when Hindus are denounced for being unsecular but silent when our sentiments are hurt. Secularism means the RIGHT of ALL religions not just the ones YOU CHOOSE.

No relogioin can tolarate mockery of thier Gods / Deities. It was right thing that he was forced to leave India. It doesn't matter where he stays and what nationalities he embraces. We don't need talents and arts that can not respect (any) religions.
