About Rewa

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Janardan Mishra was elected from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket. He received 3,83,320 votes. His closest opponent was Sunderlal Tiwari from Congress who received 2,14,594 votes. Janardan Mishra won the constituency by a margin of 1,68,726 votes.

In the 2009 general elections, the Rewa seat was won by Deoraj Singh Patel of the BSP. In the 2004 general elections, the Rewa parliamentary seat was won by Chandramani Tripathi of the BJP and his runner up was Pradeep Kumar Patel of the BSP.

The Rewa parliamentary constituency consists of seven Vidhan Sabha seats: Sirmour, Semariya, Teonthar, Mauganj, Deotalab, Mangawan, Rewa and Gurh.

In the 2019 general elections, the BJP fielded Janardan Mishra, the Congress party's candidate is Siddharth Tiwari and the BSP has fielded Vikash Singh Patel.
