Nothing Alarming in Rajinikanth's Medical Reports, Say Doctors

Tamil film actor Rajanikanth's medical reports show there is nothing alarmingly wrong with him and his doctors will take a call on his discharge today afternoon, according to a medica bulletin issued by the Hyderabad hospital where he has been admitted since Friday.

Actor-politician Rajinikanth, who was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad on Friday over "severe fluctuations" in his blood pressure, is "progressing well", a medical bulletin said this morning. Based on his test results and his blood pressure, doctors will take a call tomorrow on his discharge.

A giant Aldabra tortoise, second largest in the world and estimated to be worth over Rs 10 lakh in the international market, has gone missing from the Crocodile Park at Mahabalipuram, 56 km south of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Though the theft took place six weeks ago at the Madras Crocodile Bank Trust Centre for Herpetology, but seems to have become public only now.
