One of the 25 lok sabha constituencies in Rajasthan, Jalore constituency will vote on April 29 in the fourth phase of general election 2019 for 17th Lok Sabha. A total of 2060086 voters have been registered in this constituency. The voter turnout in this constituency was 59.62% in the last election. 11183 votes were registered under NOTA option.

The Jalore lok sabha constituency consists of Ahore, Jalore, Bhinmal, Sanchore, Raniwara, Sirohi, Pindwara Abu and Reodar assembly seats. The Jalore, Pindwara Abu and Reodar seats are reserved for candidates belonging to scheduled caste category.

A total of 2097 polling stations have been designated for voting in this constituency.

Shri Devji Mansingram Patel, two-time MP from Jalore, is contesting this time as well with a BJP ticket. BJP is in its third consecutive term in this constituency. In 2004, BJP had defeated four-time winner Congress party. BJP's B Susheela had won the Jalore seat by a margin of 39,192 votes.

In 2014, BJP defeated Congress by a margin of 381145 votes. Congress received 199363 votes.

Congress is fielding Ratan Devasi this time.

15 candidates are contesting for the Jalore seat, 9 among which are independent candidates.
