US national David Headley, arrested by the FBI for plotting a major terror attack in India at Lashkar-e-Toiba's behest, visited Mumbai at least four times, police sources have said. Headley stayed in Mumbai and also met Lashkar operative Tahawar Hussein Rana.

Bypolls in seven states; 60% turnout

It has been a day of byelections in seven states across the country, several of them high profile contests. Over 60 per cent of voters turned out on Saturday in the byelections to one Lok Sabha and 31 Assembly seats spread over seven states, which were by and large peaceful.

Smog covers Delhi; burning eyes, nausea in city
