Choose your Dream Finance Minister...

With the UPA all set for a second term at the Centre, the corridors of power and the media are abuzz with wide speculations about Cabinet hopefuls. Who'll be the next Finance Minister, the next Home Minister and so on.

With this year's election results allowing for an interesting choice of MPs - both old and young, it will be much easier for Manmohan Singh to shape his Cabinet.

Finance: Pranab Mukherjee, the Congress party's chief troubleshooter, accepted the role after P Chidambaram was moved to the home ministry to support national safety following the November terrorist attacks in Mumbai. It is said that Mukherjee is not keen on retaining the external affairs portfolio.

Mantek Singh is well known economist who can sail us through this economic downturn.He is non political and will not bow to pushes and pulls of political forces.I understand he will mean economics and not politics.

Mr. Baba, don't post irrelevant comment on this. Post comment based on article. We Tamil people voted for congress only for DMK and for good Tamil Nadu Govt. All central ministers did great things for TN during 2004-2009. So we need good portfolios to do the same. We like to live as Indians in Tamil Nadu, not as people Tamil in Srilanka.
