This jibe comes at a time when Assam Chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been very categorical about taking action against schools that registered zero pass percentage in HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) and AHM (Assam High Madrassa) exams.

According to the Assam Secondary Education Department, more than 500 students from these schools appeared in the HSLC examination this year conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA), but none of them passed the examination.
