Karnataka Chief Minister Yeddyurappa had a midnight meeting at the Taj Palace Hotel with rebel leader Jagdish Shettar, the man being projected by the Reddy camp as Yeddyurappa's successor. Senior BJP leader Anant Kumar acted as mediator.
