Another Indian attacked Down Under

Yet another attack on an Indian student in Australia -- five attacks have occurred on Indian students in less than a month.

Nardeep Singh was on his way to attend college when he was attacked, the 20 year-old nursing student from Ludhiana was reportedly assaulted by at least five men.

Chronology
Rajesh Kumar -- May 30

Hospitality graduate Rajesh Kumar received 30 per cent burns after a petrol bomb was hurled through the window of his Harris Park home.

Baljinder Singh -- May 25
Robbed and stabbed Indian student Baljinder Singh tells other students: Stay away, don't come to Australia.

Shravan Kumar -- May 17
Twenty five-year-old student Shravan Kumar Theerthala was stabbed with a screwdriver and is still battling for his life in a Melbourne hospital.

"The primary fault lies with the Australians. They are so called developed countries but without humanity. They should be ashamed as a big democratic country," said T Chidambaram, Shravan's father.

Upkar Singh - May 7
Upkar Singh, a cab driver from Jalandhar was found dead on a railway track, Australian police claim it is a case of suicide but Upkar's parents think he was murdered.

They know if an Indian is attacked our Government and foreign office will not stand up for justice. Our political system need a strong backbone to back the indians abroad. Until then, this will be the norm I am afraid.
