Press Trust of India, Wednesday December 9, 2009, New Delhi

The Government has conceded to the demand of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS).

Late on Wednesday, Home Minister P Chidambaram announced that the "process of forming the state of Telangana will be initiated."

"An appropriate resolution will be moved in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly," Chidambaram said.

"The Centre has requested the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to withdraw cases against leaders, students and those associated with the separate Telangana agitation," he added.

Reacting to the announcement, TRS chief K Chandrashekhar Rao ended his 11-day fast.

KCR is, Indian Jinnah. See, what is the state of Pakistan Now. There is no stability and peace in Pakistan ever since partition. Because of Jinnah's personal gains, India was separated. KCR is also doing the same. Jinnah opted "DIVIDE AND RULE" concept and KCR following his footsteps. The very point of 60 years of agitation is wrong. If very few people of the society adamant about separation, it doesn't mean that they have consensus. We spend crores of rupees on Elections, but why these politicians are not going for public opinion through a fair Election Process ?
