'BJP Rewarded Subramanian Swamy For Case Against Gandhis': Congress

New Delhi: Congress leader are addressing a press conference hours before the appearance of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and son Rahul Gandhi before a Delhi court in National Herald case.

• BJP has rewarded Subramanian Swamy for case against Congress leaders
• The Congress party and the whole country had suspected this from the beginning itself
• The BJP and some union ministers are behind it. You must have read in the papers that how the government has gone out of the way to give Z category security to Subramanian Swamy
• He is not a member of Parliament and neither is he in a border state where there is militancy/terrorism or that he may have killed any terrorist
• The government house that he has been allotted is a reward for filing the case against the Congress
• Since they have come to power they are targeting Opposition parties
• Earlier their slogan was Congress Mukt Bharat. Now their agenda is Vipaksh Mukt Bharat
• Congress didn't bow to the Britishers and fought and gained independence
• BJP had not role to play in that, they are in power because of India being independent

• This issue (National Herald) is in a court. We are not giving it a political colour, BJP is doing that in this case
• There are three pillars of democarcy Legislature, Executive and Judiciary
• We raised the issue of Dalits (on Gen VK Singh Comment of Dalit kids) in Lok Sabha, we questioned the government for two days, when Govt didn't give answers, we stated a walkout
• Even in Arunachal's case, they did not find any solution. Finally High Court stepped in and criticised the Governor for undemocratic steps.
• We have cadre from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. From Kachh in Gujarat to the East. We will respect the law
• Indira Ji went to Court herself, even Pandit Ji (Jawahar Lal Nehru) went to Court

• Subramanian Swamy is the mask of PM Modi
• We have said earlier also that Modi Ji and BJP is indulging in political vendetta
• We will give a political reply to it from Parliament to the streets
• Associated Journals Ltd (AJL) was formed by Pandit Nehru and others November 20, 1938 to run the National Herald and promote policies of Congress
• In 2011, we had decided that AJL be converted into a Non Profit Organisation
• The meeting on January 21, 2016 is a part of that proceedings
• If we want to convert it into a non profit organisation so that no one can take away its assets and that it remains a dharohar (legacy) for the Congress why should Modi ji have any problem with that
• Subramanian Swamy is a stooge of PM Modi and I am saying it with a sense of responsibility
