While Rakul Preet Singh turned into a spring bride for her wedding with Jackky Bhagnani, her friends have not been far behind. Lakshmi Manchu dished out spring style in an array of hues. For the evening wedding, the actress opted for an ivory ensemble featuring a one-shoulder top and satin-silk draped skirt. Heavily embroidered with ample floral and fauna applique work, the asymmetrical top was further embellished with sparkly pearls. The pleated skirt came with an ankle-sweeping train, adding to the chic factor. Lakshmi accessorised her divine avatar with a matching potli bag, coupled with an emerald and pearl-encrusted multi-tiered choker, matching studs, bangles, maang tika, and statement rings. She went for matte-based makeup with heavy contour and blush, maroon lip shade, classic winger eyeliner with mascara-coated long lashes, and shimmery eyeshadow. She rounded off her look with a sleek updo.
For the Anand Karaj ceremony, Lakshmi Manchu embodied a Punjabi kudi in a pastel pink tussar silk kurta and matching pants. Selected from the shelves of designer Simar Dugal, the ethnic ensemble was exquisitely embroidered with floral embellishments, motifs, and gota work in silver accents. A pink organza dupatta weaved with similar hand-embroidered elements accentuated her traditional brilliance. Adding a flush of colour were her green studs, chunky bangle, and statement ring. A tassel-adorned maang tika elevated her allure. For makeup, Lakshmi opted for a rosy-matte glow with pink-tinted lips and smokey eyes. Her tresses were pulled back into an edgy braid secured with a hair paranda.
While choosing her sangeet night look, Lakshmi Manchu made sure that the ensemble did not hinder her prowess on the dance floor. Turning muse to designer Aisha Rao, the actress leaned on a metallic silver plunging neckline blouse with a pair of matching palazzo pants. Red-embroidered designs around the bustier's hem and pants' waist proved to be the X-factor. But Lakshmi stood out from the crowd by layering the attire with a chanderi silk onyx black long jacket, beautifully ornamented with cutwork edging and embroidered applique work in shades of sparkly gold and silver. Silver jewellery and heavy-duty makeup sealed her glam game.
