'India's textile and apparel industry continues to benefit from strong manufacturing capabilities'
Stock Market LIVE Updates: According to Deepak Kumar, Director, Avax Apparels and Ornaments Limited, "Concerns with rising inflation in big economies, uncertainty about the direction of global interest rates, persistent withdrawals of foreign institutional investors from emerging markets, changes in commodity prices, and geopolitical instability, have all weighed down on the current market sentiment. These changes might affect demand cycles, and cost structures in the short term for industries that depend on exports, such as clothing and fashion accessories. However, India's textile and apparel industry continues to benefit from strong manufacturing capabilities, a diversified export base, and growing global interest in sourcing from India, with the long-term growth outlook for the industry remaining positive."
Stock Market Live: 'Increased oil prices likely to speed up EV adotpion'
Speaking on the sharp increase in oil prices, Yetender Sharma, Managing Director, Supertech EV Limited, "Such phases of volatility are not unusual in interconnected global markets. But for the electric mobility industry, increased fossil fuel prices and uncertainties about energy make the case for EV adoption even stronger in the long run. While markets may remain volatile in the near term, the structural transition toward sustainable mobility in India remains firmly strong."
'Bharat Electronics Limited remains strategically positioned'
"Rising geopolitical tensions in West Asia are expected to accelerate global defence preparedness, which may indirectly support demand for advanced defence technologies. Bharat Electronics Limited, with a strong presence across the Army, Navy, and Air Force, remains strategically positioned within India's defence ecosystem. The company maintains a robust order book of around ₹74,000-75,000 crore, offering strong multi-year revenue visibility. As India's leading defence electronics manufacturer supplying radars, electronic warfare systems, communication platforms, and missile components, BEL continues to benefit from sustained government defence procurement and the "Make in India" push, alongside expanding export opportunities in global defence markets," added Nidhi Sharma.

Stock Market Live: 'Natural Gas Rebounds on Global Supply Disruption Concerns'
"Natural gas prices have rebounded over 10% after falling more than 50% earlier this year due to mild weather forecasts. The recovery is mainly driven by rising global supply concerns. Drone strikes forced QatarEnergy to halt LNG production at key facilities, temporarily removing a major share of global LNG capacity. Qatar accounts for nearly 20% of global LNG exports, supplying both Asia and Europe. European gas prices surged sharply as markets priced in tighter LNG availability. With US export terminals already near full capacity and ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, supply risks remain elevated, keeping a geopolitical premium embedded in natural gas prices," added Sharma.

Stock Market News Today Live: 'Panic selling strong holdings may not be wise'
According to stock market observer Nidhi Sharma, "Last time, the MMI fell below 30 on Feb 1, 2026, the market rallied over 1,000 points soon after. Today, it is again below 30, indicating extreme fear in the market. Investors may choose to buy or stay cautious, but panic selling strong holdings may not be wise. Indian markets remain fundamentally strong and are well-positioned to outperform many global assets, even Gold and Silver over time. Extremely high oil prices are unsustainable for both the US and Iran, as inflation pressures the US economy while Iran depends heavily on oil revenues. Such extreme sentiment often reverses quickly, so de-escalation could come sooner than expected."
