Tripti Dimri started her career in Bollywood with the 2017 film Poster Boys. She worked alongside Sunny and Bobby Deol in the Shreyas Talpade directorial. Next, Tripti starred in Laila Majnu, which was directed by Imtiaz Ali's brother Sajid Ali. But none of these films brought her fame and recognition.

Netflix's Bulbbul was a milestone project in Tripti Dimri's career. She received much love for her performance in the film.
