Samantha Ruth Prabhu Apologises To Vijay Deverakonda Fans. His Reply

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been on Twitter's trends list since Wednesday morning. The reason? She shared her first look from the web-series Citadel, announcing her association with the project. After a while, a curious fan asked the actress for an update of her film Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. "Samantha, what about Kushi movie," asked a fan. The actress' reply was: "Kushi will resume very soon...My apologies to Vijay Deverakonda fans." Vijay too replied to Samantha's tweet and wrote: "We all await your return in full health and your big smile." Samantha replied "Grateful" to her co-star's tweet. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis last year.

On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon work with Downton Abbey director Philip John in a project titled Arrangements Of Love. Samantha made her big digital debut with The Family Man 2, for which she made headlines for her role as Raji. The actress will also feature in Russo Brother's Citadel. Last year, the actress featured in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She also starred in the action thriller Yashoda. She awaits the release of Shaakuntalam.

Vijay Deverakonda made his acting debut in 2011 film Nuvvila. However, his breakout performance was in the 2016 film Pelli Choopulu. The actor is best-known for his performances in films like Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Arjun Reddy, Ye Mantram Vesave, Mahanati, Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Geetha Govindam, World Famous Lover and Dear Comrade, to name a few. He was also seen in Liger, co-starring Ananya Panday. The film marked his Bollywood debut. He will next be seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri's untitled film.
