| It is regrettable to note that while many are under the impression that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the shining example of an Islamic state,its law administration,at times, baffles one's imagination.The doubt arises: "whether they follow the Shariyath laws as enshrined in the Holy Quran and in accordance with Ahadeeth of Prophet(MPH) or they are guided by their leader Mohamed bin Abdul Wahab Najadi.? In the instant case the verdict of "90 lashes"for a school girl cannot be justified .The Quran warns that whoso judges NOT by that which Allah has revealed;such are wrong-doers!"(Holy Quran 5:45) Will the judges review the case afresh and avoid making mockery of enviable islamic jurisprudence? |
