Pak had been warned about attacks: Rehman Malik
NDTV Correspondent, Thursday October 15, 2009, Lahore

As three law enforcement buildings came under concerted militant attack in Lahore on Thursday, Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik said there had been a warning about these attacks and termed them as "a strategy to destabilise the country."

Malik said there had been a warning about these attacks: "There is a red alert...Now they are attacking Punjab also. Our success in Swat has made militants desperate."

"The terrorists had faced resistance in all the three attacks in Lahore. The FIA is a government symbol and that is why it has been attacked," the minister said adding the militants were indulging in guerrilla warfare.

Mr. Malik, it is far from the truth that your warning statement and all about recent statements on terror attack. Terrorism has been developed by your country only with the support of anti-Indian Countries. Instead of correct your country's mistakes, why you are blaming other countries? First your country should cutdown relation with terrorists. If terrorists attacks other countries your comment is different. But if they attack your country, your statement is different for getting mercy on your country. First, you should know the fact that a value of the people's life is same for all the regions, as well as all the religions like your country. Please understand this noble cause and treat like a human being.
