Serial killer arrested for 18 murders in Karnataka
NDTV Correspondent, Wednesday October 21, 2009, Bangalore
A former government schoolteacher has been arrested for allegedly killing 18 women from Mangalore and Kasargod in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district.

Forty six-year-old Mohan Kumar has been accused of using cyanide to kill the women and then rob them of their jewellery. The police claim that Kumar has confessed that he has been a serial killer for five years.

According to the police, Kumar would befriend the women and meet them at bus stands. There, he would offer them medicine, which was actually cyanide.

Kumar was traced through the mobile phone of a missing girl. Eight tablets of cyanide, four mobile phones and jewellery belong to one of the missing women were found with him.

he has to be punished in such a way that in future if some body has planned to commit a crime he should never think of doing it, he has to be punished like culprits who have been punished in saudi arabia

Dear sir, Kindly pass my message to our great POLICE department. Because now before producing him to court / after, let the police take him and PLUCK root of his all 18 fingers NAIL remembering all 18 womens. and tell them to give maximum punishment he has to remember till his death.Because later the court may give judgement like nobody has lodged complaints against him till the date and there is no prove for his serial killing. ( because this is commen in our indian LAW THE WAY THEY WORK)
