There were two pilots in the plane that crashed.

Aruna Bhaguna, DG Fire Office, confirmed that one body has been pulled out of the plane. She says she does not know yet about whether the other pilot survived.

Earlier, the city's Police Commissioner confirmed to NDTV that the plane's pilot had died.

The Navy PRO, Commander Satish, told NDTV that he could not confirm whether either of the pilots had survived the crash.
 
Eyewitnesses say they saw one person ejecting from the plane before it hit a three-floor building.
