Vietnam is a popular choice amongst Indian travellers as the destination offers wonderful sights, delicious food and the joy of international travel at an affordable price. Now, a recent post going viral on X shows an extremely reasonable cost of booking a hotel room in Vietnam. The screenshot shows a "Superior Double or Twin" room at the Leaf Hotel in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. There is also a parking space and free Wi-Fi, as mentioned in the screenshot. The price shows a 75 per cent off - going down from a reasonable Rs 578 to an extremely cheap Rs 159, that too after the addition of all taxes and fees, as claimed in the post.

The X user (@harsh_vardhhan) added that he saw the bookings on Google Hotels - Agoda, and the price is extremely low due to the rainy season/off-season discount.

The internet was surprised to see such a low price for a hotel room. Take a look at the comments section:

"Itne pe to coffee bhi na mile achhi [Cannot even get a good cup of coffee at this price]," an X user quipped.

"If it's too good to be true, it most likely is," a user said.

Comparing it to India, a user wrote, "Impossible, off-season similar rooms in Goa cost Rs 2500."

Another added, "Vietnam is a good place to visit and pretty affordable, a good bet to travel."
