Gurgaon:
A 28-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday at her home in Gurgaon's posh DLF residential area.
The girl, Ruchi, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her Phase-2 residence, police said.
Relatives of the Ruchi have alleged that she was killed by her husband Sumit, they said.
According to Gurgaon Police Commissioner S S Deswal, Ruchi's sister Priti has alleged that Sumit was having an affair with Meera Chopra, cousin of a famous Bollywood actress, and was pressurising her sister for a divorce, which her sister was opposed to.
She got married with Sumit in 2005, and the couple were engaged in share brokerage business.
A case against Sumit has been registered and he was arrested on the basis of the complaint filed by the relatives of the deceased, police said.
Investigations into the death is on, they said.
