This season of Khatron Ke Khiladi is going to be a star-studded one. Among the plethora of stars set to compete in the stunt reality show is actor Rohit Roy. Ahead of the season, Rohit Roy shared a valuable piece of advice that he received from his brother, actor Ronit Roy, about performing in the show. Speaking to Etimes about Ronit's reaction, Rohit Roy said, “Arre, his reaction was ekdum jhakaas! His advice was make yourself before leaving for the show and work towards making your core strong. Kyunki main itna young hoon, ke peeth mein dard toh rehta he hai... he feels that I'll be able to do all the stunts like jumping, climbing buildings and all easily. Because of his advice, I have been working on my core strengthening since last week. It will hold me in good condition when I go for Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.”
That's not all. Rohit Roy shared that he had always wanted to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi and was thrilled to finally have the opportunity to do so. He admitted that watching the show had always left him in awe of the contestants and their ability to perform such daring stunts. He also shared that he had been in talks with the show's makers for the past five years, but for various reasons, it hadn't worked out. Rohit Roy was quoted as saying, “I said yes to KKK 13 because I've been wanting to do the show for many years now. This was on my bucket list. Whenever I've watched the show, it has left me in shock at how these contestants manage to do the stunts. I know there are proper precautions, safety measures and a host like Rohit Shetty who takes you through the whole journey properly. But I've always asked myself 'my god how do they do it'.” He also added that he has received a lot of support from his family.
Ahead of the show, Rohit Roy shared a video in which he jokes that he will never get over the fear of his wife. In the caption, the actor said, “As I embark upon this new and exciting journey, I need all of your love, support and prayers. Ganpati Bappa Morya!"
