Joining the legion of fans of the legend is Krishna's son, actor Mahesh Babu who has dedicated an Instagram post to his father on the special occasion. The heartthrob of Telugu cinema shared a photo of his father on Tuesday and wrote, “Happy birthday Nanna! There is truly no one like you. Wishing for your happiness and good health for many more years to come. Stay blessed always. Love you.” Fans of the father-son duo flooded the comments section with good wishes and congratulatory messages.
Mahesh Babu's wife, Namrata Shirodkar has also shared a picture of her father-in-law with the couple's children, Gautam and Sitara. In the caption, she wrote, "All my favourite memories have you in them for the last so many years. You have brought so much love, laughter, kindness and happiness into my life and I'm forever grateful. Thank you for being the father that you are to my husband, to me and to all of us. Happy birthday Mamayya.. We love you."

Last year, on the occasion of Teacher's Day, Mahesh Babu shared a vintage image of his father and himself. On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata alongside Keerthy Suresh. As a producer, Mahesh Babu is also backing Major, a film based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the army officer who was killed in the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The film with Adivi Sesh in the lead will release on June 3.
