The makers of Liger released a new poster from the film on Saturday morning and it is trending big time. It's easy to see why. The poster features Vijay Deverakonda sans shirt as he intensely stares into the camera. Sharing the poster from the film, Vijay Deverakkonda wrote: "A film that took my everything. As a performance, mentally, physically my most challenging role. I give you everything! Coming soon. Liger." The comments section of Vijay Deverakonda's post was filled with heart and fire emojis from fans. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda's Liger co-star Ananya Panday wrote in her caption:" Breathe guys, breathe...The temperature is rising all over India today."

Last year, the makers of the film shared the teaser of the film on YouTube with these words: "Presenting to you the most awaited Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh's sensation - the first glimpse of Liger."

The film also stars Mike Tyson and Ananya Panday and it has been directed by Puri Jagannadh and it has been co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta and Hiroo Yash Johar under Puri Connects and Dharma Productions. The film will be releasing in theatres worldwide on August 25, 2022.
Vijay Deverakonda made his acting debut in 2011 film Nuvvila. However, his breakout performance was in the 2016 film Pelli Choopulu. The actor is best-known for his performances in films like Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Arjun Reddy, Ye Mantram Vesave, Mahanati, Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, to name a few. In terms of work, the Telugu star was last seen in World Famous Lover.
