Genelia D'Souza has always been a hands-on mother. The actress, on Tuesday, posted a cute video of her younger son Rahyl on the occasion of his birthday on Instagram. The clip is a montage of various adorable and funny moments of the little one with the song Count On Me by Bruno Mars playing in the background. It also features a snippet of the birthday boy helping his mother in the kitchen. In a heart-touching message to her son, Genelia said that although she may not always be the perfect mother, it is her son who makes her feel like the best mom in the world and has stolen her heart. In the caption, the actress wrote, “ Today's your birthday and I want to take every opportunity to tell you how much you mean to me. I'm not a perfect mum, I make mistakes, I lose my cool, I forget things and there are days I go a little crazy…”

She added, “But in all of the worse things I am, there's a little boy who looks at me with awe and wonder and makes me feel I am the best mother in the world and that you little Rahyl...Thank you for all the morning hugs, for the endless cuddles, for always being understanding and assuring me you got my back, when it should be the other way around and for just being you...”

The beautiful message impressed social media users, with friends and fans dropping comments to wish the birthday boy. Abhishek Bachchan and Anuskha Sharma left hearts in the comments section. Meanwhile, mom-to-be Dia Mirza said, “Stay blessed little one and keep making the world a better place”

Recently, the star had shared a special post for her nephew Vansh, who is the son of her husband, actor Riteish Deshmukh's younger brother Dhiraj Deshmukh.

Genelia D'Souza made her debut opposite Riteish in the 2003 film Tujhe Meri Kasam. Genelia and Riteish have worked in movies such as Masti and Tere Naal LoveHogaya, before tying the knot in 2012. The couple has two children, Riaan and Rahyl.
