Vandals attack church in Karnataka's Bidar
NDTV Correspondent, Wednesday November 18, 2009, Bidar

There has been an attack on a church in Karnataka's Bidar district. Some unidentified people attacked the church around midnight.

Last year too, several churches in the state were targeted.

While 14 churches in Mangalore, Dakshina Kannada and Udipi were attacked by right-wind Hindu group, two churches were attacked in Bangalore and Mangalore on September 19 last year.

Why are the Churches in Karnataka attacked everytime? Attackers of such religious places should be given punishment. The state government must take steps to ensure such activities are not repeated. I am afraid that the government is supporting them.
