The Met Gala is a humongous fashion event where the biggest celebrities worldwide are invited in the best costumes on the 1st Monday of every May. This time it was on 1st May 2023 when global celebrities, artists, and actors came in, in their visual best. And like every year, we had a few debutants looking their absolute best too. The fashion police definitely had a gala time admiring the gorgeous costumes selected by every attendee. Let's have a look at the stunning debuts of the year.
Alia Bhatt made her Met Gala debut even before her Hollywood debut. Dolled up in a Prabal Gurung gown, the actress looked breathtaking in the real sense. The pearl-embellished gown and Alia's overall look were inspired by supermodel Claudia Schiffer's 1992 Chanel bridal look. Pearl-studded earrings and fingerless gloves completed Alia's look. Her minimal dewy makeup was done to perfection too.

Paris Hilton made her debut at the Met Gala in a bewitching black leather gown from Marc Jacobs. The off-shoulder outfit had a sweetheart neckline with shimmery details and a solid black bodice with a long train. Paris wore a pair of full-sleeved gloves, black platform heels, and a choker to complete the look. Her makeup included smokey-kohled eyes, ample mascara, and a pink lip tint.
Ice Spice showed up at the Gala in a stunning white Balmain gown. The floor-sweeping outfit featured long sleeves, with sheer panels on the side and a long trail. Her makeup included cat eyes, rosy cheek tint, and glossy lips, while she accessorised the look with stud earrings and a camera-shaped clutch.
Jennie Kim, Blackpink's K-Pop idol chose a Chanel mini dress. The strapless outfit was teamed by the diva with a pair of black stockings, a black choker ribbon, a pair of black gloves, and black pump heels. She wore her tresses in a sleek ponytail and wore minimal makeup.
Florence Pugh walked in a custom-made Maison Valentino strapless silk gown and was a treat to sore eyes. The backless taffeta outfit featured a black chiffon bow detail while Florence teamed the look with a black feather crown and minimal makeup.
Doja Cat's silver cutout gown came with a feathered train and a hood with cat eyes. She completed the look with cat eyeliner and a claw manicure and also opted for prosthetic makeup to resemble a cat.
