The final day at Lakme Fashion Week proved to be the starriest one yet with not one or two but 12 celebrity showstoppers setting the ramp on fire through the day. From Kareena Kapoor to Kangana Ranaut, Tisca Chopra's elegant appearance to Malaika Arora Khan's sexy one, the style and celebrity quotient soared through the roof on Day 5 and here are the ones that made it happen.
Kareena Kapoor For Anamika Khanna
For a finale collection as dramatic as this one, Kareena went for an all-black ensemble of a cropped black blouse with a large belt and a matching maxi skirt with fabric work. Chunky silver earrings, dark eyes and nude lips completed Kareena's look for a spectacular finish.
Kangana Ranaut For Shyamal & Bhumika
When a queen walks down the runway, you know it's going to be a good one. For the label Shyamal & Bhumika, Kangana Ranaut wore a champagne toned gown with a glitter bustier and floral work on the skirt. Along with it, she had the dupatta pinned to her bun and a neutral makeup look.
Karisma Kapoor For Aarbee
Like brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan and sister Kareena, Karisma Kapoor too decided to take the showstopper plunge this season. For Aarbee by Ravi Bhalotia, Karisma wore a beige lehenga choli with floral detailing. With it she paired neutral toned makeup and a twisted back hairstyle.
Malaika Arora Khan For De Belle
Former model Malaika sizzled on the ramp for her outing as showstopper. In a grungy black trouser set with a drape, Malaika wore her hair in a voluminous low messy ponytail with black smokey eyes and nude lips.
Shilpa Shetty For Jayanti Reddy
Shilpa Shetty on the runway was a real head-turner. Not only because she's Shilpa Shetty but also because her Jayanti Reddy creation was every inch an eyeball grabber. Replete with ruffles, her shimmery gold jacketed lehenga was accessorized with a statement necklace and low swept updo.
Pooja Hegde For Ridhi Mehra
Starting off the day on a delighful note was Pooja Hedge for designer Ridhi Mehra. In a glitter-rich steel grey gown with a plunging neckline, chunky earrings and sleekly pulled back hairstyle, Pooja's look definitely set the tone for the dramatic day ahead.
Tisca Chopra For Vineet Rahul
Making a surprising showstopper appearance on the ramp was none other than Tisca Chopra. She wore a lehenga with a light jacket in pastel pinks and green along with a fresh makeup look and long bob hairstyle.
Vaani Kapoor for Agami
The second Vaani Kapoor walked on stage, the audience couldn't stop themselves from cheering her. Sporting a breezy look from Agami by designer Neha Agarwal, Vaani wore a printed crop top, blue embroidered maxi skirt and completed it with her hair in natural waves.
Diana Penty For Punit Balana
Diana is the kind of girl who looks amazing in almost anything and this appearance was no different. While her bandeu-skirt-jacket combination was high on drama with ruffles and glitter, she pulled it off to perfection with a sleek bun and smokey eyes.
Rahul Khanna For Narendra Kumar
To close a raging show that almost verged on a dance party was Rahul Khanna for Narendra Kumar. The man crush to many looked hella fine in an all-white combination of a bomber jacket, t-shirt, joggers and sneakers and lent the collection his signature suave touch.
Karan Singh Grover For Raamz
For menswear label Raamz, Karan Singh Grover looked flamboyant as ever as one of the few male showstoppers with definitely the most quirk. For his outfit, Karan wore a pink suit with side tie, a white shirt, red brogues and what else but a feather in his pocket.
Kiara Advani For Julie Shah
Making a fitting showstopper for Julie Shah's breezy collection was Kiara Advani. Her look consisted of a floral maxi skirt with a black bustier and black vest which Kiara paired with a side-swept braid, rosy cheeks and pink lips.
Now that's what we call a starry finish to a stylish week.
