Jammu:
Three bodies have been fished out from canals in Jammu and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Friday. Acting on an information that a 40-year-old man,Inderjeet Singh, had drowned in Ranbir Canal in Domana area of Jammu city on Thursday night, Police rushed to the spot and launched a search, officials said.
During the search an unidentified body also surfaced in the canal, they said. Police also fished out the body of 17-year-old Mohmmad Akram from Nehro canal in Gatta area in Doda district today, said officials, adding that he had drowned while taking a bath.
The bodies have been handed over to family members and the unidentified body has been kept in the mortuary, they said.
