Ananya Panday, who is busy with the promotions of Liger, checked into Hyderabad, where she also visited her co-star Vijay Deverakonda's home. The actress, who also met Vijay's mom Madhavi Deverakonda, shared pictures from their meeting on her Instagram profile on Wednesday. The actress also revealed that Vijay Deverakonda's mom hosted a pooja for the film Liger. Ananya captioned the post: "Blessings from Vijay's Amma and a pooja at his home in Hyderabad for Liger. Thankful, grateful, blessed. Thank you aunty.

The film has been directed by Puri Jagannadh and it has been co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta and Hiroo Yash Johar under Puri Connects and Dharma Productions. The film will be releasing in theatres worldwide on August 25, 2022.
