Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Mohsin Khan has taken a big step in his personal life. The actor announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Tamanna via an Instagram post on Saturday.
The attached images featured glimpses from the intimate ceremony. Mohsin wore a sharp black suit paired with a crisp white shirt and a red tie. Tamanna, on the other hand, stunned in a light pink outfit with a matching dupatta draped gracefully over her shoulder. For her second look of the night, Tamanna opted for a ruby-red maxi gown featuring an elaborately beaded and sequin-embellished bodice.
In the caption, Mohsin described Tamanna as “crazy beautiful, confident” and “sensitive," adding that she was always laughing, teasing, hoping and praying. "The first time we looked at each other, the first time i held your hand to the first time you sang Hum toh bhai jaise hai waise rahenge, I knew something within me settled. I had found my Person," he wrote.
"I was always told that when your forever person arrives, it will somehow become the easiest and yet the most important decision you will ever make. Maybe our story was already written in the stars. Or maybe, once in a lifetime, two people simply find each other at exactly the moment they were always meant to,' the actor added.
Further in the note, Mohsin Khan went on to express his love and excitement for his soon-to-be wife. The actor made the announcement even more special by including a popular dialogue from Veer-Zaara, Tamanna's favourite film. He wrote, "As we begin this new journey of our Lives together, A journey filled with Love, Friendship & a Lifetime of Memories…Let me quote from Your fav film my Love “Mohabbat kya hoti hai ye toh mai nai jaanta, Lekin iss k liye dil se ek dua zaroor nikalti hai ke iski aakho mai kabhi aasu naa aaye…hamesha hasti rahey…Ab issey Mohabbat kahey toh Mohabbat sahi'."
Mohsin concluded the note, writing, "Of all the promises we have made and all the dreams we are yet to dream, perhaps the most beautiful one is this….to find a home in each other. Here's to us, my love and to the beginning of our forever @tammerrrrz."
Soon after Mohsin Khan shared pictures from his special day, his industry friends and colleagues filled the comments with congratulatory messages for the couple. Stebin Ben wrote, “Badhaiyaaaaan,” while Paras Arora congratulated him, saying, “Congratulations Bhai.”
Nia Sharma also sent her wishes, writing, “Love and luck forever. Beautiful this is.” Adrija Roy added, “So so happy for you. Congratulations,” while Smriti Kalra congratulated the couple and their families.
