Priyanka Chopra's Response to Pics of Her at Age 17 Wins a Slow Clap

New Delhi: Last week's frenzied discussion over why actress Priyanka Chopra now looks so different from when she did at 17 didn't go unnoticed by the subject. Ms Chopra, 33, has posted a response of sorts to resurrected pictures of the teenaged her and, as far as responses go, this one is pretty much awesome.

 These pictures of a much-younger Priyanka Chopra were submitted for the Miss World pageant in 2000, which Ms Chopra won. Recently found and circulated by a fan club, the photos caused some heads to nod wisely and suggest that plastic surgery had helped the actress look the way she does now. 16 years after she won Miss World, Priyanka Chopra is now the toast of both Bollywood and Hollywood. At home, she last starred in Prakash Jha's Jai Gangaajal and was recently awarded the Padma Shri. Abroad, she is busy with her TV show Quantico and the Baywatch film with Dwayne Johnson. In between, she's been a guest on shows hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon and also presented an Oscar.
