Once good friends, actors Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor turned rivals as professional commitments pitied them against each other. Both of them shared screen space together in the 2004 film Aitraaz with Akshay Kumar playing the male lead. But the two reportedly fell prey to misunderstandings while filming the movie.
Their catfight caught the nation's attention on the TV show Koffee with Karan where Kareena took a dig at her asking where did she get her accent from. Priyanka retorted sating the same place her boyfriend (reference to Saif Ali Khan) got it from. Moreover, on season 4 of the show, Priyanka mentioned Kareena on being asked which actor would have a life size poster of themselves in their room. But now it seems the actors have let bygones be bygones and are trying to bury their differences. Priyanka has reportedly reached out to Kareena to feature with her in a docudrama on girl child and women's rights for The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
Both Priyanka and Kareena have been working for UNICEF. While Priyanka is the National Ambassador promoting child rights and adolescence, Kareena is UNICEF India Celebrity Advocate supporting children's education in the country.
It will be a treat for Priyanka and Kareena's fans to see the two re-unite for a social cause. Right now, the modalities and dates of the project are reportedly being worked out and rumour has it that other actors may also be approached for the documentary. Only time will tell if this professional associations fosters friendship between Priyanka and Bebo once again or not.
