Chennai: Having recently returned from a holiday in Turkey, Pooja Hegde has given herself serious travel goals. The actress says she would like to explore a new place - not necessarily outside India - each year from now on.
- My biggest dream is to travel the world, says Pooja Hegde
- She couldn't travel outside India for two years due to Mohenjo Daro
- Pooja's currently filming Allu Arjun's Duvvada Jagannadham
"I had recently gone for a magazine shoot to Antalya, Turkey. From there, I went on a holiday to Istanbul, and it's the first time I had gone on a trip on my own. I see travelling as a great learning process and my biggest dream is to travel the world," Pooja told IANS.
Which is the next country she plans to visit?
"I want to explore a new place each year and it can be within India. When I was shooting for Mohenjo Daro, I couldn't travel out of the country for two years. But it gave me an opportunity to explore new places within India. I'm sure there are so many places to explore in India and I would love to go there," she said.
When she is not shooting or exploring new places, you can find her doing aerial flips -her new hobby.
"I saw singer Pink doing aerial flips during one of her performances at Grammy Awards. It got me inspired, and I started doing it too. It has made me very flexible. I couldn't even touch my toes a few years ago but now I find myself to be extremely fit," she added.
Pooja is currently busy shooting for Allu Arjun's Telugu film, Duvvada Jagannadham.
