A baby shower (godh bharai) was hosted for actress Surveen Chawla, who is pregnant with her and husband Akshay Thakker's first child. Surveen shared the pictures from the ceremony on Instagram and they look like a dreamy affair. The mom-to-be glowed in a yellow golden Raw Mango sari, which she paired with a pink blouse and jewellery by Satyani Fine Jewels. "The godh bharai for the little angel... A very, very, very special and big thank you to the wonderful people for putting this memorable evening together," read the caption of one of Surveen's post. The decoration of the venue was primarily done with flowers and fairy lights and Surveen posed against the beautiful background.
"Like magic put together...," Surveen wrote for another post of hers.

Just a few weeks ago, Surveen made a head turning appearance at the Nykaa Femina Beauty Awards in a blue gown.
Before that, she walked on the red carpet of Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards.
Surveen Chawla has shared several glimpses from her pregnancy diaries after she made the announcement in November 2018. Her cute Instagram post, in which she announced her pregnancy, comprised of a picture frame of the couple and in front of it, she placed a tiny pair of shoes. "Life happens when it chooses to happen, when it wants to happen. And it is happening right now in this very moment, making our blessed and beautiful world even more blessed than what it already is! Yes, there is a miracle taking place, a miracle called life! And we are growing by two little teeny-weeny feet," she wrote.
Surveen and businessman Akshay Thakker married in Italy in 2015. However, she announced her wedding on social media in December 2017.
Surveen Chawla has starred in TV shows like Kahin To Hoga, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and 24. She also had a brief appearance in Sacred Games. She has featured in several Punjabi and Tamil films. Her breakthrough role was in 2014's Hate Story 2.
