Superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran shared pictures from his Onam festivities with his family on his Instagram profile on Tuesday. The album features him dressed in his festive best as he poses with his family. In another picture, Prithviraj Sukumaran can be seen digging into an Onam Sadhya spread. The actor captioned his post, "Onam. I guess a forced rest has its own advantages." Prithviraj's caption was with reference to his resting phase. The actor has been on a break of sorts after he underwent a key hole surgery in June this year. He was injured while filming a stunt on the sets of Vilayath Buddha. Coming back to his Onam festivities, Prithviraj Sukumaran also shared a happy picture with wife Supriya and he captioned the post, "Happy Onam to all of you from us."

Prithviraj Sukumaran shared another picture from the festivities with wife. She shared an identical photo on her profile and she wrote, "Happy Onam! Wishing you all a prosperous and love filled year. PS- wearing this beautiful kasavu saree from Pichakam."
Meanwhile, on his Instagram story, the actor shared a picture of his festive OOTD and he simply wrote "Happy Onam."

In June, the actor had shared a health update post surgery, in which he wrote, "Hello! So yes... I had an accident while shooting an action sequence for Vilayath Buddha. Fortunately, I'm in the hands of experts who performed a key hole surgery and I'm now recouping. It's rest and physiotherapy ahead for a couple of months. Will try my best to use that time constructively and I promise to fight through the pain to recover fully and get back into action ASAP. Thank you to all those who reached out and expressed concern and love."
On the professional front, other than Vilayath Buddha, Prithviraj Sukumaran will star in the Hindi film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Prithviraj Sukumaran's film credits include Ennu Ninte Moideen, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Classmates and Mumbai Police, among many others. He made his directorial debut with the 2019 hit Lucifer. He will next be seen in Salaar, co-starring Prabhas.
