Ranveer Singh talks about his Ram Leela co-star Deepika Padukone and the controversies that surround him

- Ranveer: It was a particularly tough day and there was stress. I trimmed my beard a little more than required and it was a mistake So it kind of led to some sort of stress.
- Ques: You have landed in trouble because of your outspoken nature
- Ranveer: I realise that I need to refrain from speaking from my heart at least10 per cent. If you are outspoken by nature it is difficult to sugar coat things but I have realised that I need to express my honest opinion within the confines of my house with friends I trust.
- Ques: You have had your share of problems with Arjun (Kapoor) and Ranbir (Kapoor)
- Ranveer: The newer generations of actors are all very cool. It makes for entertaining news to pit us against each other but there is no such thing. Everyone is too busy to worry about others and I share a close bond with Arjun. As far as Ranbir is concerned I have a great amount of respect for him and he has set a benchmark for all of us.
- Ques: There are a lot of speculations about your personal life
- Ranveer: Personal life is my personal life, what do I say but I am single.
- Ques: You were dating Anushka Sharma?
- Ranveer: No, I wasn't dating Anushka but we were very close. She is one of the most amazing people that I have ever met. She is brilliant and extremely talented. I am indebted to her for whatever she has taught me not only in my craft of acting but also in my life. She is a special person.
- Ques: There are reports that you are no longer on talking terms
- Ranveer: Not at all. We are cool.
- Ques: What about Deepika Padukone?
- Ranveer: We hang out together like youngsters do. Just because she is Deepika Padukone and I am an actor doesn't mean anything. I am a hugger and kisser and I do that with everyone. I come from a family, which is demonstrates its affection. I love working with Deepika and I admire her a lot. She is the most beautiful woman in the world and is extremely talented. She is one of the kindest person that you will ever come across. She is lovely and it is a pleasure to work with her.
