Maharashtra HSC result has been released on the official website later. As per the official website, the result will be available for downloading at 1 pm today. The information about Maharashtra Board 12th result was announced by Varsha Gaikwad, Maharashtra School Education Minister, on her twitter profile. The result was announced through the board's regional office. Students would need details such as exam roll number, and date of birth to check their result. Maharashtra board was able to conclude HSC exams in February-March. However, the evaluation process could not be completed on time due to the Covid-19 pandemic and hence results got delayed.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackrey tweeted his congratulations to students who have been successful in Maharashtra Board HSC exam.

In the HSC results announced today Konkan division recorded highest pass percentage with 95.89% while Aurangabad is placed in the lowest with 88.18%.
According to a statement released by the Maharashtra Board, out of 154 total subjects, 23 subjects recorded 100% result.
Overall pass percentage in the Maharashtra HSC results increased by 4.78% this year compared to the last academic year. The overall pass percentage in Maharashtra Class 12 results was 85.88 per cent last year.

A total of 14,20,575 students had registered for the Maharashtra Class 12 exams this year. Out of which, 14,13,687 appeared for the exams held in February and March, and 12,81712 candidates passed the exam.
This year, 90.66% students have qualified for higher education from the Maharashtra HSC results announced today.

Maharashtra board will award average mark of all other papers for their cancelled Geography paper. According to the board's statement, marks of five other Secondary School Certificate (SSC) papers would be taken to consideration to draw an average score for the Geography paper which was earlier scheduled for March 23 but later cancelled owing to the measures announced in the state to arrest the spread of coronavirus.
While Maharashtra baord will announce class 12 results today it has made no announcements regarding SSC or class 10 results.
Among the three streams, Arts stream recorded 76.45 pass per cent, Science stream recorded 92.60 pass per cent, and Commerce stream recorded 88.28 pass per cent.
In Maharashtra Board HSC exam last year, pass percentage among boys was 82.40 per cent and among girls was 90.25 per cent.
In 2019, Maharashtra board announce result for HSC exams on May 28. The pass percentage last year was 85.88 per cent.
Several reports had earlier suggested that Maharashtra board will announce result for both HSC and SSC exams on June 10 but the board refuted such claims.
Maharashtra board was one of the few states which was able to conclude class 12 exams before the nation went into a lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The board, however, was unable to conduct Geography paper for SSC students and later cancelled it.
"The result for higher secondary and state secondary board in Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mumbai Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, Konkana and other divisional boards exam held between feb - march 2020 class 12 result board website on Thursday 16-7-2020 1 noon. One must download and take a printout of scorecard," reads Maharashtra class 12 result notice.
Maharashtra Board students will be able to check their subject-wise marks on 'mahresult.nic.in'.
The board will release details of Class Improvement Scheme for Maharashtra HSC students later.
Maharashtra HSC results are usually announced during a press conference. However, this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the board will not hold any press conference.
