Maharashtra HSC result has been released on the official website later. As per the official website, the result will be available for downloading at 1 pm today. The information about Maharashtra Board 12th result was announced by Varsha Gaikwad, Maharashtra School Education Minister, on her twitter profile. The result was announced through the board's regional office. Students would need details such as exam roll number, and date of birth to check their result. Maharashtra board was able to conclude HSC exams in February-March. However, the evaluation process could not be completed on time due to the Covid-19 pandemic and hence results got delayed.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackrey tweeted his congratulations to students who have been successful in Maharashtra Board HSC exam. 

"For all those who have got their HSC results today - you have done your best and a bright future with a million opportunities awaits you! Remember, there's nothing you can't achieve if you set your mind to it. Best wishes to you all as you cross another milestone in life," he wrote on Twitter.

Maharashtra HSC result 2020: Konkan records highest pass percentage

In the HSC results announced today Konkan division recorded highest pass percentage with 95.89% while Aurangabad is placed in the lowest with 88.18%. 

Maharashtra HSC result 2020: 100% result in 23 subjects

According to a statement released by the Maharashtra Board, out of 154 total subjects, 23 subjects recorded 100% result.

Divyang students' pass percentage

This year, Divyang students recorded a pass percentage of 93.57%.

Overall pass percentage increased by 4.78%

Overall pass percentage in the Maharashtra HSC results increased by 4.78% this year compared to the last academic year. The overall pass percentage in Maharashtra Class 12 results was 85.88 per cent last year.

Maharashtra HSC result 2020: Stream-wise statistics

From the Maharashtra HSC results announced today, here are the stream-wise statistics of students qualified for higher education:

Science stream - 96.93%

Arts stream - 82.63%

Commerce stream - 91.27%

Vocational stream - 86.07%

Around 13 lakh pass Maharashtra Class 12 exams

A total of 14,20,575 students had registered for the Maharashtra Class 12 exams this year. Out of which, 14,13,687 appeared for the exams held in February and March, and 12,81712 candidates passed the exam. 

Overall pass percentage: 90.66%

This year, 90.66% students have qualified for higher education from the Maharashtra HSC results announced today.

The Maharashtra Board will release the HSC results in one hour. The students should be ready with their registration details to download the Maharashtra Higher Secondary Certificate or HSC result from the official websites.

Maharashtra SSC: Average Marks In Geography

Maharashtra board will award average mark of all other papers for their cancelled Geography paper. According to the board's statement, marks of five other Secondary School Certificate (SSC) papers would be taken to consideration to draw an average score for the Geography paper which was earlier scheduled for March 23 but later cancelled owing to the measures announced in the state to arrest the spread of coronavirus.

Maharashtra board was one of the few states which was able to conclude class 12 exams before the nation went into a lockdown as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. The board, however, was unable to conduct Geography paper for SSC students and later cancelled it.

Maharashtra Education Minister Tweets On HSC Result

Maharashtra Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad tweeted yesterday, confirming HSC result date and time. 

"Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune will announce the results of the 12th examination held in February-March 2020 on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 1.00 pm. Congratulations to all the 12th standard students and their parents in the state!," she wrote on Twitter.
