The result is available on the Council's website. Students can also get their result through SMS after it is announced. After the top court's intervention, CISCE cancelled the exam for remaining papers and came up with an alternative assessment scheme based on which the results will be announced today.

CISCE board students have been sharing hilarious memes on result declaration since the date and time was announced yesterday.
The Council did a detailed analysis of the data from the past board examinations from 2015 to 2019 as well as the year 2002 board exams. The factors and weightage to each factor was chosen so as to 'ensure fairness to all the candidates' who appeared in the board examinations this year.
For ISC, the same formula will be used to calculate marks for the subjects Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Biology and Home Science. The formula is slightly different for Elective English, and Art Paper.
The Council will consider the following factors while computing a student's marks in the cancelled papers:
- Average of a student's best three papers marks in board examination
- Subject internal assessment (for class 10)/ Subject project and practical work
- Percentage subject internal assessment (for ICSE)/ Percentage subject Project and Practical Work (ISC)
CISCE says that the internal assessment component measures a student's proficiency and the average marks in best three subject are a measure of their general academic ability.
The online module to apply for rechecking will be available only for seven days from the day of result declaration.
ICSE and ISC students will be able to apply for re-checking through the official CISCE website. Re-checking will be done only for subjects for which written exam was held.
In 2019, ICSE and ISC results were announced in May. The results were delayed this year due to the coronavirus pandemic which first led to postponement of some papers. The postponed papers were eventually cancelled.
For ISC or 12th students exam for 8 papers was cancelled while for ICSE or 10th, exams for 6 subjects were cancelled.
For ICSE, exam for Geography-H.C.G. paper 2, Biology- Science paper 3, Economics Group III Elective, Hindi and Art paper 4, and for ISC, exams for Biology paper 1, Business Studies, Geography, Sociology, Psychology, Home Science paper 1, Elective English, and Art paper 5 could not be conducted due to the coronavirus spread followed by announcement of the lockdown.
