JSW MG Motor India has announced that the Majestor SUV will launch in India in the first week of May 2026. The exact date for the event is yet to be confirmed. With this, the Majestor will become the biggest SUV of the brand in the Indian market. Once launched, the SUV will replace the Gloster in the Indian market. It will compete against models like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and others on the Indian market
MG Majestor: Design
The Majestor has been crafted to make a statement with its impressive dimensions, which MG asserts rank it among the most extended, widest, and tallest SUVs in its class. At the front, it showcases a striking Mosaic Matrix grille, accompanied by distinctive Dragon-Eye LED daytime running lights and Tri-beam LED headlights.
Its upright hood, boxy silhouette, and robust shoulder lines create a commanding presence typical of full-size SUVs. Enhancing the premium look are 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, recognized as some of the largest in this category.

MG Majestor: Cabin, Features
Within the interior, the focus is strongly on luxury and technology. Noteworthy features include ventilated front seats with massage options, a 12-speaker JBL sound system, 64-color ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.

The dashboard is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, alongside a fully digital driver display. Safety provisions encompass ADAS Level 2, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, and hill descent assistance. For those interested in off-road capabilities, the SUV includes three locking differentials and various terrain driving modes.
MG Majestor: Powertrain
The MG Majestor derives its power from a 2.0-liter twin-turbo diesel engine sourced from the higher-end versions of the Gloster, generating 215 hp and 478.5 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and features a four-wheel-drive (4WD) system with low-range capability. Additionally, the Majestor comes fitted with three locking differentials and several driving modes: Snow, Rock, Sand, Mud, and Normal.
