American caught for anti-India terror plot
NDTV Correspondent, Wednesday October 28, 2009, New Delhi
The FBI appears to have foiled another Mumbai-type attack on India. This time involving an American citizen.

A report on the FBI website says the agency has arrested David Coleman Headley, who was planning attacks on India and Denmark, along with top Lashkar-e-Toiba operatives, based in Pakistan.

Headley and a Pakistani-Canadian, Tahawwur Hussain Rana, were planning to attack the offices of the Danish newspaper that published cartoons of Prophet Mohammed; also on their target list, cities in India.

The FBI affidavit says Headley visited India to plan the attack on behalf of the LeT. He was also in close contact over e-mail with Ilyas Kashmiri and several unidentified leaders of LeT, two of whom are identified as "LeT member A" and "LeT member B."

The agency also claims that Headley was in touch with a prominent Indian actor who his associates and he referred to as 'Rahul."

The new revelations will put American citizens travelling to India under close scrutiny by both US security agencies, and by India.

So relieved this was nabbed in time. There's faith now that the current administration is doing their job.Hope all suspects are caught.Rahul for sure is a code name of city/important person.Whats concerning is the reach of these Pakistani terrorists, that they now managed to brainwash an American!usually its the americans brainwashing the world!

Indians least expect such attacks atleast from America.I think India's secularism & democracy is attracting terrorists. There is some strong reason for the attacks going on in our neighbours, but india always wants "peace".Why screw us always???
