Pune:
One person was killed and another injured when unknown assailants opened fire at an office of a courier company in the densely populated Ganesh Peth area in Pune on Saturday, police said.
The attackers who fled the scene immediately had come to demand money at the office which is believed to be a front for a suspected hawala racket involving many illegal transactions, police said.
One of the injured was declared dead on admission to the Sassoon hospital while other was being treated, hospital sources said.
