Travelling across the world may be the experience of a lifetime but can certainly weigh heavy on the pocket. Just ask Sara Ali Khan, who'd probably agree with us. The Bollywood star recently attended the IIFA 2023 awards function in Abu Dhabi and thought that roaming didn't make the cut for her travel expenses. In an interview on the red carpet with Brut., Sara confessed, "I'm very stingy. I am too busy taking hotspots from my hairdresser, and I still don't have roaming yaar. I mean I should not behave like this." After discovering the cost of roaming amounted to Rs 3,000 for 10 days when she was in the city for only a day, Sara replied, "Come on, Rs 3,000 for one day, I might as well use hotspots." It's certain to get a hard relate from anyone who has travelled internationally on a budget. From visa documentation to travel fare, even the smallest of expenses add up quickly.
Recently, when promoting their upcoming movie with Sara Ali Khan, Vicky Kaushal revealed on The Kapil Sharma Show that, Sara had a tussle with her mother over her overspending on towels. In her defense, Sara stated that towels were in the plenty in their vanity vans so could easily use those.
