In the days when spotting celebrities off-duty was a daily affair, Sara Ali Khan and her salwar kameez suit were a frequent sight at the airport, film offices and everywhere in between. Though movie promotions have mainly gone digital, there's a stylish sense of nostalgia to see the Bollywood actress back in an ethnic suit. Sara's upcoming film is Coolie No. 1, where she will be seen onscreen with Varun Dhawan for the very first time. The trailer launch of the film had Sara go back to basics with her fashion statement in a embroidered short white kurta, lace-trimmed palazzo pants with a silver detailed dupatta. Silver juttis by Fizzy Goblet and jhumkas rounded off the gorgeous outfit which we have certainly missed.

Diwali saw the actress in a royal blue salwar suit with a lime green dupatta by Manish Malhotra. Completing the majestic outfit were a matching shade of juttis and chandbali earrings.

Making it abundantly clear that blue was her choice for the season, she sported a gold foil and blue Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla salwar suit which featured a backless cutout and sheer dupatta.

Reel life mimicked her personal style pretty well when she wore a white kurta with Patiala-style pants and a pink dupatta on the set of a movie.

When Sara showed up in a glitzy pink lehenga look with her hair in a bun, you could be sure that all eyes in the room would be on her.
