Colours not only give a pleasant spin to outfits but also work as a treat to the eyes of the onlookers. Right from pantsuits to ethnic wear, we have seen many celebrities acing colour block outfits, which is set to be a summer trend this season. Joining the clan is Rani Mukerji. She is a stunner and someone who never compromises on her fashion choices. The actress who is currently promoting her film Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway impressed in a pretty multicoloured saree. Her six yards of grace featured contrasting combinations in vibrant green, yellow and pink hues separated by black detailing. Rani matched it with a chic colourful blouse with three-fourth sleeves showing orange and green hues. Her studs and chunky bracelets added to the charm. Her minimal makeup showed contoured cheeks, mascara-laden eyelashes and nude glossy lips. She went for simple straight hair.

Before this, Rani draped a stunning saree from the house of ace fashion designer Masaba Gupta. Do you know what was so special about the ethnic wear? It came with “Maa” written in white on a black background. Rani paired it with a matching full-sleeve black blouse with a bold cutout at the back. The actress added jhumkas and a lovely tiny black bindi to match her OOTD. She wore contoured cheeks, kohl-rimmed eyes and glossy mauve lips. Her wavy mane was left open.

Rani Mukerji also opted for a stunning white number showcasing wide black borders. How was the blouse though? It was a custom woven cotton blouse with the paan-patti motif having delicate sequins and a plunging neckline. Rani just picked diamond studs from the accessory department. With her black bindi, kohl-rimmed eyes, and muted brown glossy lips, she rounded off her look by keeping her hair open.

There are a few who can pull off sarees as charmingly as Rani Mukerji. Do you agree? Look at her channelising her inner fashionista in a bright green saree featuring sheer blue borders. Rani also teamed it with a blue short-sleeve blouse with a closed round neckline. She went for heavy accessories for this one. Her neckpiece, jhumkas and bangles suited her OOTD. The actress chose kohl-rimmed eyes, mascara, a purple bindi and mauve lips for this one. Her hair was tied in a bun secured with a gajra.

Rani Mukerji gave a fun twist to this vibrant ethnic number. She wore a yellow saree showcasing animated cow prints all over in black. We must say this brought a quirky touch to her OOTD. She teamed it with a similar turtleneck, full sleeve blouse. She accessorised herself with contrasting blue glass bangles, a gold nose ring and a blue bindi on her forehead. With smokey eye makeup and a nude shade on her lips, she was good to go.

Hence proved, sarees are very close to Rani Mukerji's heart.
