May it be for the movie promotions or Bollywood parties, the actor keeps her fashion game on point. For Karan Johar's 50th birthday bash which was a star-studded affair, Rakul wore a velvet mini dress in fiery red from the clothing brand Alexandre Vauthier. The full-sleeved bodycon dress had a plunging neckline, wrap detailing at the waistline with a side trail and a dramatic asymmetrical hemline. The actor accessorised her look with studded earrings and wore silver heels to go with the outfit. Leaving her mane loose in beachy waves, Rakul opted for nude makeup, soft eye makeup and nude lip colour.

The stunning ethnic piece was from designer label of Tanazfatima M. Charania. The anarkali kurta had delicate embroidery throughout with patti work at the borders. Rakul teamed the outfit with churidar and white dupatta with chikankari motif detailing. Accessorising the outfit with statement traditional earrings alone, Rakul opted for subtle makeup with glossy lip tint and soft kohled eyes. Rakul looked simply gorgeous in the all-white attire.
