Paris Men's Fashion Week was anticipating the larger-than-life fashion show of Pharrell Williams' debut collection as Creative Director of Louis Vuitton Menswear for the Spring/Summer 2024 show. In an attempt to make this show truly iconic following the big campaign featuring Rihanna in all her pregnant glory, he turned Paris' oldest bridge, the Pont Neuf into the runway for his show. A pumping party zone no less, the biggest names of fashion and entertainment were in attendance to witness the beginning of one of the most memorable eras for the legacy house.

The allure of Paris at night was maximised with a soft amber runway and a live orchestra playing in the background. As per some reports, Pharrell wanted his debut collection for the French label to revolve around love. With dandy silhouettes and many eye-catching moments, the collection offered a peek at the future of fashion. Louis Vuitton's signature Damier print is reimagined in many ways through the collection with a play around textures, colours and an overall vision of how we see and recognize the iconic print.

Louis Vuitton's show in Central Paris had not just one but multiple breathtaking moments that one could never get enough of. The runway models showed an incredible display of style from the latest collection but the real party was happening in the front row. Of course, it had to be a star-studded affair with celebrities like Zendaya, who is the brand's ambassador, and Rihanna, for obvious reasons that she was the face of the campaign who sat alongside beau rapper ASAP Rocky. Beyonce and Jay-Z stole most of the show just by being there. Kim Kardashian was also seen in one of the brand's newest additions of the pixelated camo outfits for the show.

Stefano Pilati, former Yves Saint Laurent's Creative Director walking the runway for Pharrell Williams' show was yet another memorable moment. An unexpected crossover but much appreciated by those in the fashion world, he walked in classic monochrome with attention to detail from his large duffle bag and sunglasses.

Jay-Z went on to steal stole the show with his performance. The rapper performed a remix of British-Indian rapper Panjabi MC's hit song 'Mundian To Bach Ke' and instantly uplifted the spirits of everyone present at the show. He was seen rocking a monochrome look complemented by a signature patterned Louis Vuitton jacket for his performance.

The show was one to remember from start to finish. Just when you expected that there was no more room for surprises, Pharrell Williams did it again by presenting the entire atelier of the collection to take a bow at the end led by Pharrell himself. Thousands of designers and craftspeople flocked the runway proving it truly takes a village to get your favourite Louis Vuitton piece in place.
