Call her what you want to; one of modern Bollywood's finest female talents or the centre of controversy. One thing you cannot deny about Kangana Ranaut is her style chops. Whether it's the ease with which she wears a saree (even when she's just off a flight, we kid you not) or her numerous airport style spottings, today Kangana is a style icon who makes a statement every time she steps outside. Yes, even to the gym.

Yesterday was no different. Teasers of Kangana's upcoming flick Mental Hai Kya were released on social media and with its fittingly whacky visuals, the digital sphere couldn't stop talking about it. It promised the reunion of Kangana and Rajkummar Rao, who we haven't seen together onscreen since Queen so the excitement was definitely called for. What topped off the eventful day was a fashion sighting last night.

The Mental Hai Kya team stepped out for dinner and the sartorial queen decided to take it up a few notches. Kangana wore a long sleeved black turtleneck with a matching bandage mini skirt. The headliner of her outfit was however, her shoes. She paired the look with thigh high black boots with red accents at the foot. Completing its rocker chic vibe were heavy kohled eyes and glossy nude lips with her curls pulled back. Wow, just wow.

While the temperature is already beginning to heat up in Mumbai, we'd definitely have to think twice about slipping into turtlenecks and thigh high boots. But then again, we aren't glam celebrities making style statements, you know? We're going to look past that just because she looked so damn fine. The striking, straightforward makeup look with the uncomplicated outfit (when isn't all black a winner!) gets our seal of approval. With her edgy vibe and sleek almost catsuit-like ensemble, Kangana Ranaut could head to a rock concert right after dinner if she wanted to.
