1. Ravishing Reds Are Always In
Indian weddings shall always remain incomplete without some doze of red glam. The Manish Malhotra Bridal collection was an enchanting medley of bridal glory in sacred reds, scintillating golds. Even designer Suneet Varma's collection 'Noor' was, both, bold and striking, screaming maximalism. Another royalty bridal collection was of designer Ashima-Leena's collection with delicate hand embroidery in rich charming reds whereas designer Falguni-Shane Peacock elevated the grandeur while adding a dash of glamour with architectural motifs of domes and minarets in deep reds.
2. Fairytale Glamour
While reds are always the classic bridal choice, this time the trends moved towards tones of ivory and muted beige. Designer Siddartha Tytler's collection was heavily dominated by ivory and shades of gold while the gorgeous silhouettes complemented the theatrical shapes and voluminous ruffles. Designer Dolly J's collection proved the old-world charm through an ombre of French blues merging into amethyst mauves, bathing in drops of gold and silver crystals. Designer Amit GT went forward with more dramatic and voluminous trains and bustles in gowns.

3. Intelligent Designs
Interestingly, preferences are leaning towards a heightened level of upcycling while bringing the same detailed silhouettes in a mindful manner. Designer Amit Aggarwal's collection showcases hand painting through marbling patterns over discarded PVC and hand-woven polymers. On the other hand, if the silhouettes and brand give a sense of individuality, sparks cultural dialogues - those silhouettes tend to resonate with one's personality. Designer Gaurav Gupta's collections are always conversation starters that emotionally move his audience. You could find a concept lehenga sculpted in cosmic grey, embellished with sprinkles of shaded glass or a violet gown with fan-like structures.
4. Modern-Age Bride
The new era of couture with certain collections tends to resonate with all the brides of this generation in the most authentic way possible. The ideal bridal look was shown in a fun and quirky way, millennial brides who want to party and feel at ease at their wedding. Designer Varun Bahl's couture collection is slightly bohemian with a hint of glamour - you'll find draped skirts and dresses paired with bralettes, jackets with power shoulder, slip dresses paired with long jackets. Designer Reynu Tandon's collection focussed on a similar story with tulle skirts paired with bralettes.
5. Power Of Floral Bride
Florals are timeless designs, and nothing works better than floral prints that seamlessly add a vibrant touch. Designer Anamika Khanna's red floral lehenga with statement hair jewellery that brides have finally revelled on their love for bespoke styles. Designer Rahul Misra's iconic design language articulated with age-old techniques of hand embroidery along with Banarasi cutwork and chanderi silk textiles, bridal fashion has now been slowly formulated and interpreted for the world of today.
