Just when we were beginning to miss seeing Sonam Kapoor make trendsetting fashion statements, the actress made a comeback on her Instagram account (finally!), looking pretty as ever in sunflower yellow. Probably it was her big fat Indian wedding and the buzz over her last film Veere di Wedding that we sort of became accustomed to seeing Sonam catch eyeballs every now and then in one after the other stunning outfits. Every since she has gone on her London break, we have had very limited glimpses of her super stylish life. And yes, we do miss it.
The Bollywood diva seems to be on a family holiday in The Sanchaya Bintan, Indonesia. And although we don't know the occasion, Sonam surely notched up her ethnic style quotient in a kota jamdani anarkali suit by designer Gaurang Shah.

The anarkali kurta had a buttoned placket at the chest and delicate floral detail all over, which was teamed with a matching dupatta with contrast red border. Sonam's hair was styled into a gorgeous braided bun, and she sported statement earrings by Amrapali to glam it up.
The last time Sonam was seen in a similar look was during the promotions of Veere di Wedding, when she set summer style goals in an orange yellow chanderi kurta set. The chikan waistcoat kurta with geometric self patterns was teamed with a matching palazzo. And here too, she had teamed it with statement earrings from Amrapali.
When we talk about yellow, how can we miss out on Sonam Kapoor's showstopping look at Cannes Film Festival? Remember the Vera Wang dual-toned gown she wore with the long train? The yellow highlight in the gown had elevated her look to wow.
